Thermal Spray Aluminium (TSA) is a process in whereby finely divided aluminum material is deposited in a molten or semi-molten condition on a prepared substrate to form a spray deposit.
The spraying material may be in the form of powder, rod, cord or wire. The thermal spray gun generates the necessary heat by combustible gases or an electric arc.
The 2 types of TSA spraying are Flame Spray and Arc Spray.
This process is able to minimise inspection and maintenance requirements as the service life is more than 10 years.
